Lead Instructional Designer - Learning Architect

ENVIRONMENT:

Our client, an innovative EdTech startup at the forefront of STEM education technology, is looking for a Lead Instructional Designer (Freelance) (3month - 12 month) to drive the creation of a world-class instructional experience for their upcoming AVR Content Development Project. This role is central to redefining how students engage with complex subjects through immersive, curriculum-aligned digital learning experiences. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing comprehensive instructional pathways that translate academic concepts into accessible and engaging content. From crafting Instructional Design Documents (IDDs) to developing pedagogically sound storyboards, the Lead Instructional Designer will play a pivotal role in guiding the development team through each phase of the content creation process.

 

DUTIES:

• Develop and lead the Instructional Design Document (IDD)
• Design immersive AR/VR learning journeys tailored to curricula
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and simulation developers
• Align content with educational outcomes and best-practice design

REQUIREMENTS:

• A degree in Instructional Design, EdTech, or similar
• Proven experience in immersive/AR-VR content development
• Strong grasp of global and local curriculum design standards
• Proficiency in tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Articulate Storyline
