Are you a seasoned technical sales professional?
Join a small, high-performing team that has been supplying life-saving chemical safety products to the mining industry for over 19 years. Based in Darling, this hybrid role is ideal for a relationship-driven self-starter who is comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders, conducting site surveys, and training clients directly on mine sites.
You’ll take over an existing Gauteng client base, with a strong focus on building new business nationally. Your first month will be spent in the office for onboarding and ISO/product training, followed by regular travel to client sites, primarily in Gauteng and occasionally Durban.
Minimum Requirements:
3+ years of technical sales experience.
Knowledge of chemical or industrial sectors advantageous.
Valid driver’s license.
Willing and able to travel within South Africa for client visits and presentations.
Based near Darling or surrounds.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills – attention to detail and grammar are critical.
Self-managed, professional, and relationship-driven.
Comfortable conducting safety presentations, site surveys, and training clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Generate leads through research, outreach, and site visits.
Conduct technical product demonstrations and chemical safety presentations.
Perform site surveys and risk assessments, and recommend solutions to manage chemical risks.
Ensure client compliance with ISO 13485 regulations.
Manage existing client relationships and repeat sales cycles
Provide regular training sessions for clients and ensure proper product use.
Maintain consistent, professional communication and record-keeping.
