As Sales Manager, you'll lead a team of Business Development Managers, guiding strategy, developing talent, and driving growth across a portfolio of high-value enterprise accounts.
Minimum Requirements:
Grade 12, or equivalent.
Business Management degree or equivalent qualification.
MBA or similar postgraduate qualification (advantageous).
Completed Management/Leadership programme.
8+ years of progressive experience in professional services or IT solution sales.
Demonstrated experience in long-cycle, consultative sales environments.
Minimum of 3 years' experience managing a high-performing sales team.
Proven track record in high-value, solution-based sales.
Solid understanding of financial, leasing, and procurement models.
Skilled in CRM systems, sales reporting, and data-driven performance analysis.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and develop a national team of Business Development Managers.
Define and implement strategic sales plans aligned with company growth objectives.
Drive and oversee complex, enterprise-level sales cycles and commercial negotiations.
Manage key client relationships, including C-suite engagement.
Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, and operations teams.
Analyse performance data and market trends to inform strategic decisions.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and customer excellence.
Represent the sales function in executive planning and performance reviews.
Identify and unlock opportunities for cross-sell, upsell, and solution innovation.
