Junior Compliance Officer (FICA Focus) Cape Town City, South Africa
Our legal client is looking for a Junior Compliance Officer will support the company in adhering to FICA regulations and other compliance standards. Key responsibilities include assisting with compliance programs, conducting audits, and handling FICA-related matters to ensure legal and regulatory compliance.
Salary: Up to R400 000.00 CTC (Depends on experience and Qualification.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
2-3 years of compliance experience, preferably with FICA exposure.
Strong knowledge of FICA regulations.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
Eagerness to learn in a dynamic environment.
Compliance or anti-money laundering certification (e.g., CAMS) is a plus.
Responsibilities:
Assist in developing and maintaining FICA compliance policies.
Conduct basic FICA audits and risk assessments.
Monitor FICA regulation changes and update policies.
Support staff training on FICA compliance.
Prepare FICA-related reports for management and regulators.
Investigate compliance issues and report breaches.
Maintain compliance records and documentation.
