Receptionist Tyger Valley, Bellville

 

Our Law firm client seeks the expertise of a Receptionist with at least 5 years experience working at a Law firm. The Receptionist is the first point of contact for clients and visitors at the law firm. This role is responsible for providing professional front-desk service, managing administrative tasks, and supporting attorneys and staff with general office duties.

 

Salary: CTC (Depends on experience)

 

Minimum Requirements:

Grade 12 certificate. Diploma in Office Administration will be an advantage

Switchboard experience

Minimum 5 years’ experience as a receptionist in a law firm (essential).

Experience with data capturing and general office administration.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Willingness to assist with ad hoc duties as required.

Punctual and reliable.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Professional appearance and demeanor.

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Accurate typing skills and attention to detail.

Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Friendly, approachable, and client-focused attitude.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Greet clients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner.

Answer and direct incoming calls promptly and efficiently.

Manage the reception area to ensure it is tidy and welcoming at all times.

Capture and update client and case data accurately on the firm’s systems.

Make bookings for meeting rooms, appointments, and travel as required.

Prepare and serve tea and coffee to clients and visitors.

Book parking for clients and visitors as needed.

Type letters, legal documents, and correspondence as requested by attorneys.

Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.

Assist with filing, photocopying, and scanning of documents.

Provide general administrative support to attorneys and office staff.

Maintain confidentiality and uphold the professional standards of the firm.
