Finishing Foreman – Building Contractor (Cape Town)

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate finishing trades (carpentry, tiling, ceilings, painting, joinery, etc.)
- Ensure quality workmanship and attention to detail throughout all finishing phases
- Manage subcontractors and ensure project deadlines are met
- Conduct snagging and de-snagging inspections to ensure compliance with specifications
- Maintain site safety, cleanliness, and compliance with company policies
- Report progress to Site Manager and assist in resolving site challenges
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Finishing Foreman in the building industry
- Strong track record on multi-storey residential and commercial projects
- Excellent knowledge of finishing trades, standards, and materials
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to deliver high-quality finishes within tight deadlines
