Job Description

Got an exciting role for a 2 – 3 year post CA(SA). You will be joining a fast-growing international group with operations in South Africa, the UK, and Canada. The business is expanding quickly, and this role offers the opportunity to work closely with the Board and play a central role in shaping its financial direction as the Finance Manager.

What you will be doing:

  • Oversee all financial reporting, management accounts, and internal controls
  • Lead annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and performance tracking
  • Manage group cashflow, facilities, and banking platforms
  • Support international expansion, including SARB applications, loan schedules, and forex calculations
  • Oversee external audits and ensure IFRS compliance
  • Ensure full tax compliance across South Africa, UK, and Canada
  • Drive cost control, procurement efficiency, and supplier management
  • Maintain statutory and legal documentation, risk registers, and compliance schedules
  • Review payroll, stock management, fixed assets, and receivables
  • Manage insurance, claims, and cover reviews
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to achieve high performance

What we are looking for:

  • CA (SA)
  • 2 – 3 years post-article experience
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS for SMEs, Income Tax, VAT, and Companies Act
  • Advanced Excel and MS Office skills; Sage Evolution and QuickBooks knowledge an advantage
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills
  • High attention to detail, integrity, and ability to manage multiple priorities
