Job Description:

Reporting to the Toolroom Team Leader, the Toolmaker will be responsible for manufacturing, repairing, maintaining, and modifying tools, jigs, and dies to meet customer and company quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manufacture, repair, maintain, and modify tools, jigs, and dies as per requirements
• Utilize toolmaking techniques and knowledge of manufacturing processes
• Proficiency in Tic and Arc welding of tool steel and cast iron
• Conduct consistent inspection and quality checks

Job Requirements:

• Grade 12 and NQF Level 5 qualification
• Qualified Tool and Jig maker
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in automotive toolmaking
• Experience in tool, jig, and die repair
