You’ll be the go-to for key month-end processes, reconciliations, and reporting, perfect for someone who loves keeping things running smoothly and enjoys the variety that comes with stepping into a contract role with purpose.

 

What you’ll be doing:

• Managing and reviewing the full cashbook function and addressing related queries
• Processing and reconciling complex financial transactions, including month-end journals
• Preparing and reviewing monthly income statement and balance sheet schedules
• Reconciling and maintaining the Fixed Asset Register and Finance Lease Agreements
• Managing insurance declarations and claims
• Supporting audit preparations and cash flow reporting
• Assisting with month-end procedures and year-end readiness

What you need before you apply:

• BCom in Accounting
• 5+ years in a similar accounting role
• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, formulas)
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
• Able to stay calm and organised under pressure
• A self-starter who thrives on solving problems
• Great team player with strong communication skills
