What the Role is About

You’ll take full ownership of the group’s finance function, from stabilising current operations to driving strategic transformation. This is a career-defining opportunity to modernise systems, support commercial growth, and grow into the CFO role.

 

What you will do

• Lead financial operations across multiple African entities.
• Prepare group financials, manage tax compliance, and implement internal controls for all group entities.
• Optimise systems and automate processes for better insight and efficiency.
• Support cross-border structuring and multi-currency operations.
• Collaborate with founders on strategy, expansion, and new ventures.

What We’re Looking For

• CA(SA) / CIMA
• 5-10 years post articles experience in finance leadership, ideally with African market exposure.
• Proven experience in financial reporting, systems, and process improvement.
• Skilled in international tax, FX, intercompany structures, and compliance.
• High EQ, commercial mindset, and a “roll-up-your-sleeves” attitude.
