A Well-established company selling Glassware / Cutlery / Crockery / equipment to the hospitality trade.
The ideal candidate will be someone who calls on restaurants and hotels.
Job Purpose
The Key Account Manager (KAM) will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with key clients in the hospitality sector. This role focuses on driving sales, ensuring customer satisfaction, and delivering tailored solutions that meet the unique needs of hotels, restaurants, and other hospitality businesses.
Skills Requirements
- Minimum 5 years key account manager / sales experience, ideally from within “Restaurant / hotel Supply” industry
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Organizational skills
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Ability to build long-term relationships and manage multiple stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office.
- Fluent in English
- Customer centric approach
- Problem-solving capacity
- Ability to self-motivate
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Valid driver’s license and own transport
Key Responsibilities
Account Management:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key hospitality clients.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all client needs and inquiries.
- Order taking
- Handle complaints or objections
Sales & Business Development:
- Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products/services.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets within assigned accounts.
- Achieving monthly sales targets
- Negotiating / closing deals
- Demonstrating and presenting products
Strategic Planning:
- Create account plans aligned with client objectives and company goals.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
- Feedback any competitor activity and competitor pricing
- Promoting brand and product awareness
Customer Experience:
- Ensure timely resolution of client issues and maintain high satisfaction levels.
- Conduct regular business reviews with clients to assess performance and future needs.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with internal teams (marketing, operations, finance) to deliver seamless service.
- Provide feedback to product development teams based on client insights.
