Our financial trading client in Cape Town is looking for a Treasurer with 2 years plus experience responsible for the financial management and oversight of the organization’s financial operations. This includes managing cash flow, investments, and financial risk, as well as ensuring compliance with financial regulations and policies. This is a Hybrid role

 

Salary R 600 000 Annually

 

Min Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a treasury or financial management role within the trading industry – added advantage
• Strong knowledge of financial markets, instruments, and risk management.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

 

Responsibilities:

• Financial Management – Develop and implement financial strategies to optimize the organization’s financial performance.
• Manage cash flow, ensuring liquidity and efficient use of financial resources.
• Oversee the management of the organization’s investment portfolio.
• Risk Management – Identify and manage financial risks, including currency, interest rate, and credit risks.
• Budgeting and Forecasting
• Compliance and Reporting
• Banking and Financial Relationships
