Our firm, situated in the heart of the Cape Town CBD, specialises in personal injury and related litigation matters. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality legal services while maintaining a supportive, professional, and collaborative working environment. We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our growing team.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for, inter alia:

  • Assisting with the preparation, management, and progression of personal injury matters from inception to trial and settlement;
  • Attending court, assisting with trial preparation, and briefing counsel;
  • Liaising with clients, experts, counsel, and maintaining regular client communication;
  • Drafting legal documents, pleadings, notices, correspondence, and affidavits;
  • Managing and maintaining accurate and well-organised case files (both electronic and physical);
  • Conducting legal research and providing general administrative support to legal practitioners;
  • Supporting the legal team in meeting procedural deadlines and compliance requirements.

Minimum Requirements

  • Completed LLB degree;
  • Completion of Practical Legal Training (PLT) will be advantageous;
  • A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle will be beneficial;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Afrikaans (essential);
  • Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel);
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and function effectively as part of a team;
  • Previous legal experience or a demonstrated interest in personal injury law will be advantageous.
