The successful candidate will be responsible for the fabrication, assembly, and welding of steel components and structures, ensuring work is completed accurately, safely, and in accordance with engineering specifications.
- You must be able to work independently, maintain a high standard of workmanship, and consistently meet production deadlines in a fast-paced fabrication environment.
- You will have a Trade Test as a Boilermaker, coupled with proven experience in a steel fabrication or manufacturing environment.
- Strong ability to read and interpret engineering and workshop drawings
- Experience in cutting, bending, rolling, and shaping steel materials
- Competency in welding techniques (MIG / ARC / TIG, depending on project requirements)
- Solid understanding of structural steel and plate work
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety standards
- Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently
