My client is part of a growing group of companies and need a hands-on Financial Manager who thrives on responsibility. You’ll manage end-to-end accounting for one or two entities, working closely with operations to drive financial clarity and insight.

 

What you’ll be doing:

• Own the full accounting cycle — from supplier and customer invoicing to reconciliation’s and month-end reporting
• Manage accounts payable and receivable with precision and follow-through
• Deliver accurate monthly management accounts and insightful variance analysis
• Lead cash-flow management and forecasting for your entities
• Ensure VAT submissions and statutory compliance are met
• Support annual audit processes and liaise with external auditors
• Maintain strong internal controls and robust financial records
• Collaborate with group and operational stakeholders to inform decision-making

What we’re looking for:

• BComm in Accounting / Financial Management (essential)
• 3–5 years’ experience in an accounting or finance manager role OR completed SAICA/SAIPA articles
• Strong technical accounting skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable working independently with a proactive, solutions-driven mindset
• Clear communicator, especially when working with non-finance colleagues
• SME or multi-entity experience is a definite plus
