LAYER & REARING PRODUCTION MANAGER – Vaalwater, Limpopo

A prominent poultry operation in the Vaalwater area is seeking a seasoned and proactive Production Manager to oversee their Layer and Rearing operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 / Matric
• 8–10 years’ proven experience in managing Layer and Rearing operations
• Passionate, motivated, and results-driven
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team
• Excellent planning, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
• High level of computer literacy
• Solid knowledge of labour laws and compliance
• Must be proactive, accurate, and able to work independently
• Willingness to work irregular hours, including weekends
• Must reside on-site full-time

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage farm staff in a disciplined and effective manner
• Maintain accurate records and production reports
• Consistently meet performance and production targets
• Prepare and manage budgets while controlling operational expenses
• Implement and maintain strict bio-security measures
• Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety regulations
• Oversee and manage 300,000 Layers and 160,000 Rearing birds
