Site Manager

Key Responsibilities
🔹 1. Site Operations Management

Oversee daily site activities and workforce productivity.

Ensure work is executed according to approved drawings and specifications.

Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.

Monitor progress against project schedules.

🔹 2. Health, Safety & Compliance

Enforce compliance with OHS Act and company safety policies.

Conduct site safety meetings and toolbox talks.

Ensure proper PPE usage and risk assessments.

Manage incident reporting and corrective actions.

🔹 3. Quality Control

Ensure workmanship meets quality standards.

Conduct inspections and sign off completed work.

Address defects and ensure corrective measures.

🔹 4. Budget & Cost Control

Monitor material usage and labour costs.

Prevent wastage and control site expenditure.

Report on cost variances to Project Manager.

🔹 5. Stakeholder Coordination

Liaise with clients, consultants, engineers, and authorities.

Attend site meetings and provide progress reports.

Manage community and local labour issues where applicable.

🔹 6. Documentation & Reporting

Maintain site records, daily logs, and progress reports.

Track materials delivery and usage.

Ensure compliance documentation is up to date.

3. Minimum Requirements
Qualifications:

Diploma/Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.

Trade qualification (advantageous).

Valid driver’s license.

Experience:

5–10 years relevant site management experience.

Experience in construction/mining/infrastructure projects.

Proven experience managing subcontractors.
