Please Note: Due to the urgency to fill the role, preference will be given to candidates from the Cape Town and surrounding areas.
- You will have completed a National Diploma in Cost and Management Accounting, coupled with 2-4 years experience in a similar role within the engineering and/or the manufacturing sector.
- You will have experience costing of manufactured parts, materials and product, reviewing of the BOM on cost reports and analysing the variances, with recommendations of resolution.
- You will have experience in execute weekly/monthly reviews of material usage, labour efficiency, and overhead absorption to identify cost leaks.
- You will have proven experience in waste cost management as well as profitability reporting and pricing for projects
- You will have experience in managing project files, stock and component levels as well as being an effective communicator to coordinate with cross-functional divisions to provide management reports and recommendations
- You will have solid expertise in ERP (SAP, Syspro, etc) and Advanced Excel, as well as being a excellent organiser, with attention to detail and cope under pressure
- You must have a valid driver’s licence, own car and a clear criminal and credit record
