- Service, repair, and maintain heavy vehicles and mobile equipment
- Conduct diagnostics and fault-finding on mechanical and electrical systems
- Perform engine, transmission, brake, and suspension repairs
- Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and service documentation
- Carry out preventative and breakdown maintenance
- Ensure compliance with safety and site maintenance standards
- Support workshop and field service operations as required
- Maintain accurate maintenance and service records
- Trade qualification as Diesel / Heavy Vehicle Mechanic
- 3–5 years post-trade experience in heavy vehicle or mining environment
- Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic capability
- Experience with engines, transmissions, hydraulics, brakes, and suspension systems
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and manuals
- Strong safety awareness in industrial or mining environments
- Willingness to undergo international skills assessment and licensing requirements
- English proficiency to meet visa requirements (IELTS/PTE or equivalent)
- Valid passport
- Trade certificates and academic qualifications
- Skills assessment (TRA or equivalent where applicable)
- English language test results (IELTS/PTE)
- Full-time, permanent employment with an Australian employer
- Employer-sponsored visa pathway (subject to skills assessment and immigration approval)
