Sales Manager – Poultry Sector

We are seeking the expertise of a Sales Manager to drive sales growth, customer engagement, and commercial development within the Poultry sector by overseeing technical, marketing, and business initiatives across the Specialty Foods division.

Requirements

• Sc. Food Technology, Food Technology, or Food Science degree or Agriculture (Animal Science) required, MBA advantageous
• Minimum 5–7 years relevant experience, preferably in the Poultry Industry
• Commercial and sales experience essential
• In-depth knowledge of poultry, poultry ingredients, and poultry processing advantageous
• Technical ingredients and food application experience

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the commercial and technical aspects of the Poultry division
• Maintain and grow existing customer relationships while driving new business development
• Lead the implementation and execution of projects to drive volume and sales
• Collaborate with support function managers to develop sustainable, profitable business
• Conduct hands-on product testing and customer trials
• Travel extensively to liaise with clients and ingredient partners
• Report directly to the General Manager: Specialty Foods and work closely with the MD and CEO

Location: City Deep, Gauteng

CTC: R 600,000 – R 800,000 per annum, plus quarterly incentives based on meeting sales targets
