Our client in the Retail Industry is looking for a Store Manager to join their team in Oudtshoorn.

Key Responsibilities: 
  • Asset & Store Maintenance: Keep the store neat, coordinate repairs, secure assets. 
  • Stock Control: Manage stock levels, reorder, identify slow-moving items, conduct stock takes, control shrinkage. 
  • Merchandising: Oversee product displays, layout, promotions, and maintain housekeeping standards. 
  • Marketing & Sales: Implement promotions, lead staff in displays, participate in marketing activities, achieve sales targets, organize events. 
  • Administration & Cash Handling: Maintain admin standards, oversee cash procedures, manage expenses, report daily figures. 
  • Security & Risk: Ensure security protocols are followed, monitor security staff, handle alarm calls, ensure health & safety standards. 
  • Customer Service: Train staff, assist customers, handle inquiries/complaints, enhance customer satisfaction. 
  • People Management: Assign duties, motivate, train, evaluate staff, manage staffing and attendance, conduct meetings.
Minimum Requirements: 
  • Matric certificate 
  • NQF 5/6 in Retail/Business Management (preferred) 
  • Valid driver’s license (Code 8) 
  • 2-5 years in retail/sales/operations as Assistant Manager/Manager
