Hospitality Support Consultant
Location: Somerset West (Office-based)
Reports to: Support Manager
🚀 The Role in a Nutshell
Do you know how hotels, guesthouses, and lodges run smoothly behind the scenes? That’s where we come in. We’re looking for a Hospitality Support Consultant to be the friendly, expert voice our clients rely on every day. You’ll help hoteliers solve real problems, train them on our software, and make sure they get the most out of our platform.
No two days are the same, one moment you’re troubleshooting, the next you’re celebrating a client’s “aha!” moment. If you love helping people, enjoy tech, and have a hospitality background – this could be your next great move.
✅ What You’ll Bring (The Essentials)
● You've worked in hospitality or on Hospitality Systems – that could mean front-of-house, reservations, or supporting hotel software.
● Matric certifi cate – the foundation.
● Great communication & problem-solving skills – you listen, ask the right questions, and explain things simply.
● MS Offi ce profi ciency – you know your way around Word, Excel, and Outlook.
● A driver’s license (advantageous but not essential). ⭐ Bonus Points (Not Required, but Nice to Have)
● Familiarity with Microsoft SQL
● Basic knowledge of networking, cloud confi g, HTML, or hardware setups
📋 What You’ll Do Day-to-Day
● Answer calls, emails, and chats with empathy and accuracy – you're the hero our clients need.
● Dig into problems – ask smart questions to fi nd the real root cause.
● Use our knowledge base and internal tools to resolve issues fast (first-call resolution is the goal).
● Spot patterns – if something keeps breaking, you’ll fl ag it so we can fi x it for everyone.
● Train clients on using our software – turning confusion into confi dence.
● Test new features from a client’s perspective – your feedback will shape our product.
● Report bugs to the technical team and help improve our systems.
● Work as a team – share knowledge, support colleagues, and learn from each other.
● Join an after-hours phone & WhatsApp rotation (with voicemail backup). You’ll be fairly compensated for this.
