Graduate Software Engineer (CPT Onsite)

ENVIRONMENT:

ARE you a Top calibre Graduate Developer with a relevant university degree? Then a leading Multinational Corporation in the Skincare industry wants you to join its Development team where you will help contribute to the ongoing build of a web-based ERP platform and websites. Applicants must possess a Degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering from an accredited institution with strong foundational knowledge in CSS, JavaScript HTML, databases and Backend development. This role offers the opportunity to work with a hand-picked group of smart and creative people who, with the benefit of time and space, focus on producing the best possible solutions in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

DUTIES:

• Work closely with Senior Software Developers and learn from experienced mentors while also taking initiative on your own tasks. You will be exposed to the full landscape of systems development and will contribute to feature development, bug fixes, code maintenance, and code reviews. The systems are entirely web based and built using Ruby on Rails.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering from a recognised university.
• Strong foundational knowledge in databases, CSS, JavaScript, HTML, and Backend development.
• An understanding of Object-oriented Programming principles is important.
• Familiarity with Version Control systems such as Git.
• Experience with Ruby on Rails is beneficial but not required.
