BOOKKEEPER WANTED
YJA is seeking a meticulous and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team in Cape Town. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a strong eye for detail, we'd love to hear from you.
Please note: This position is open to Cape Town applicants only.
Start Date: 1 July

Work Arrangement:
Office-based.
Minimum Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Bookkeeping, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a bookkeeping environment
- Proficiency in Sage (essential)
- Good VAT skills
- Active SARS profile with proven SARS eFiling experience
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
Key Responsibilities:
- VAT audits
- PAYE audits
- Compromise applications
- Tax returns for individuals and companies
- Simple payroll processing and submission of EMP201 and EMP501
Advantageous (Optional Extra):
- Experience working in an accounting office environment
- Preparation of financial statements on Draftworx
Key Attributes:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
