My client, the leading supplier of quality firewood, compost and wood alternative products, is looking for an experienced Warehouse and Dispatch Team Leader.

They are looking for a hands-on Warehouse & Dispatch Team Leader to assist with the day-to-day running of their warehouse and dispatch operations.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, leading by example, and ensuring that work is completed efficiently and accurately.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support warehouse and dispatch staff
• Assist in achieving daily productivity and operational targets
• Ensure orders are picked, packed, loaded, and dispatched correctly
• Assist with stock handling, loading, and general warehouse activities
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organised work environment
• Monitor attendance and communicate operational issues to management

Requirements

• Previous experience in a warehouse, dispatch, logistics, or production environment
• Leadership or team-leading experience will be advantageous
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Valid driver’s licence code 8 or 10
• Forklift experience advantageous
• Reliable own transport
• Physically fit and willing to be hands-on
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work under pressure

Working hours

Monday to Friday, 07:30 – 16:30. Additional hours may be required from time to time to meet operational requirements.
