Key Responsibilities
- Promote and sell parts and related services to both existing and prospective customers.
- Build, develop, and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients through professional and responsive service.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by demonstrating a proactive and customer-focused approach at all times.
- Handle customer queries, complaints, and concerns efficiently, ensuring issues are resolved to achieve maximum customer satisfaction.
- Manage and monitor all back orders, providing customers with accurate daily updates and feedback.
- Assist customers in identifying the correct parts by effectively using parts catalogues and technical resources.
- Prepare and process sales quotations, estimates, picking slips, internal transfers, and invoices accurately and timeously.
- Process internal and external parts invoices in accordance with branch requirements and procedures.
- Follow up on outstanding back orders daily to ensure prompt resolution and customer communication.
- Achieve and exceed agreed sales targets and performance objectives.
- Participate in the standby and after-hours parts sales support roster as required.
- Attend weekly management meetings and assist in resolving parts-related issues.
- Support stock takes and inventory control activities when required.
- Maintain excellent attendance, punctuality, and professional conduct.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
- Perform any additional duties reasonably requested by management.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of 1–2 years' experience in a similar parts sales or customer service role.
- Valid Code 8 driver's licence.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Computer literacy and experience working with sales and invoicing systems will be advantageous.
