Job Description

We have an awesome opportunity to join a dynamic retail and product-driven business where finance plays a critical role in commercial success. We’re looking for an Accountant who combines strong analytical ability with problem-solving skills to help drive efficiency, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing detail with big-picture thinking, someone who can work confidently with financial data while also being an individual who can relate to the creative team and enjoys logic and creativity.

 

What you’ll be doing:
•    Managing all accounting transactions and maintaining accurate financial records.
•    Preparing trial balances, management accounts and supporting annual financial statements.
•    Overseeing creditors, debtors, payment runs and reconciliation’s.
•    Managing inventory controls and ensuring stock is accurately captured and valued.
•    Processing payroll, leave, tax submissions and statutory requirements.
•    Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes and reporting.
•    Supporting general office administration and contributing to the wider team.

 

What we’re looking for:
•    Minimum 3 years’ experience in an accounting role.
•    Relevant accounting qualification.
•    Experience with Xero and inventory systems such as Vend would be advantageous.
•    Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
•    Retail, FMCG or high-volume inventory experience.
•    Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
•    A logical thinker who also brings creativity, initiative and problem-solving ability.
•    Someone who can work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team.
