AI & Automation Developer -POS26254

Based: Edenvale

Salary: R32 – 35 000.00 pm

Design, implement, and maintain AI-driven automation solutions to streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and drive digital transformation across accounting, taxation, audit, and advisory functions.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, IT, Software Development, Data Science, or related field. (AI/Automation or Cloud certifications are a plus).
• Experience: * 3–5 years in software development.
• 2–5 years in automation development.
• Proven experience with AI tools, APIs, and integrations.
• Exposure to accounting or financial systems is highly advantageous.
• Analytical thinking & advanced problem-solving
• Innovation-driven mindset with sharp attention to detail
• Strong communication and project management skills

 

Technical Stack & Skills

• Automation & RPA: Power Automate, Microsoft Power Platform, Zapier, Make.com
• AI & Language Models: ChatGPT/OpenAI API, Azure AI, Microsoft Copilot, OCR tools
• Development & Data: Python, SQL, API Integrations

 

Key Responsibilities

• Workflow Automation: Automate complex financial, accounting, and business workflows.
• AI Integration: Build AI-powered solutions, utilizing OCR and LLM tools to optimize operations.
• System Integration: Develop secure, reliable API integrations between core business platforms.
• Data & Analytics: Create reporting dashboards to track operational metrics.
• Project & Support: Lead automation projects from scope to deployment, document solutions, and provide technical support/training.
