Our client in the Banking Sector is seeking an Analytical Engineer to transform business requirements into structured, analytics-ready datasets. The successful candidate must have a strong background in data analysis, data modelling, and SQL, with the ability to deliver high-quality, trusted data that supports reporting and business analytics. This is a 1-year contract with strong possibility of extension.
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate business requirements into analytics-ready data models.
- Design, develop, and maintain data models using Data Vault 2.0 and dimensional modelling techniques
- Develop advanced SQL queries for data transformation, analysis, and reporting
- Perform data profiling, validation, and quality assurance
- Deliver trusted, high-quality datasets for reporting and analytics
- Experience with Azure/Databricks and enterprise data environments preferred.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and ability to bridge business and technical data requirements essential.
