Packaging Machine Technician

Minimum Requirements:

• Matric (Grade 12)
• 3–5 years' technical and/or agricultural experience in servicing and repairing machinery
• Experience working with different types of erecting machines
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills with excellent attention to detail
• Valid Code 8 driver's licence
• Computer literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
• Good organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers at all levels
• Self-motivated, proactive, goal-oriented, and a strong team player
• Willingness to work after hours, overtime, and weekends when required

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform servicing, maintenance, and repairs on company and customer erecting machines across various customer sites
• Conduct planned and preventative maintenance to minimise downtime
• Carry out fault-finding, diagnostics, and repairs on erecting machines
• Respond to customer call-outs and conduct packhouse visits as required
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and housekeeping standards
• Represent the company professionally while delivering high-quality technical support and customer service
