Our client in Isando Johannesburg is looking for a Financial Manager CA(SA) with 5 years post qualification experience form the manufacturing industry. You will be overseeing the financial health of an organization. The role involves strategic planning, financial analysis, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
Salary Negotiable plus benefits – Hybrid
Qualifications and Experience:
· Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) qualification is essential.
· A minimum of 5 years of post-experience in financial management, preferably in the manufacturing production industry.
· Costing and Management accounting
· Strong knowledge of IFRS, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
· Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
· Excellent leadership and team management skills.
· Proficiency in financial software and ERP
· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Responsibilities
- Managing the financial operations of the organization
- Ensuring accurate financial reporting and providing strategic financial guidance
- Financial Planning and Analysis
- Developing and implementing financial strategies
- Preparing and analyzing financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and long-term plans
- Ensuring timely and accurate financial statements
- Overseeing financial report consolidation and compliance with IFRS and local standards
- Leading the budgeting process
- Monitoring cash flow and managing working capital
- Risk management and compliance
- Providing financial insights for strategic decisions
- Liaising with banks, investors, and financial institutions
- Managing relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies
