Our client in the Legal sector is seeking a Legal Office Administrator Intern for a fixed-term contract in Gqeberha/ Port Elizabeth

Key Responsibilities: 
  • Welcome visitors and provide professional reception and front-office support.
  • Answer and direct incoming telephone calls and respond to email enquiries.
  • Assist with general administrative and office support duties.
  • Prepare, scan, copy, file, and maintain physical and electronic documents.
  • Delivering and collecting legal documents.
  • Schedule appointments and assist with diary management when required.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure all documentation is organised and up to date.
  • Ensure reception and common office areas are neat and presentable.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of client and company information.
  • Provide administrative support to the Director and other team members.
  • Perform any other reasonable administrative duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 (Matric) is essential.
  • A certificate, diploma, or degree in Business Administration, Office Administration, Office Management, Legal Administration, Public Management, or a related field.
  • Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
  • Valid driver's licence (preferred or essential if document deliveries form a significant part of the role).
  • Good command of English and Afrikaans, both written and verbal.
  • No prior work experience required; previous administrative or reception experience will be advantageous.
