Manager Advisory - Governance

Job Description

Do you have strong internal audit experience and a keen interest in gaining experience abroad? We are currently assisting a big 4 firm with securing top tier talent to relocate and join their offices in Bermuda. The ideal candidate will have experience in insurance Internal Audit, managing a diverse portfolio of clients.

Responsibilities:

You will be providing the following assistance to clients within the insurance industry..

• Internal audit services
• Sarbanes Oxley and Internal Controls over Financial Reporting advisory and assurance services
• Enterprise risk management advisory and assurance services
• Initial public offering readiness reviews
• Governance, regulatory and compliance advisory and assurance services
• Business process design, implementation, and operating reviews

Requirements:

• 6+ years’ experience in SOX, internal audit and / or advisory providing services within the insurance and broader financial services industry
• Bachelor’s degree or above with a professional qualification being advantageous (CIA, CPA, CA)
• Experience with Sarbanes Oxley testing processes and controls
• Excellent written and oral presentation skills
• Knowledge of the insurance industry and related regulatory environment
• Experience working on complex cross border engagements
• Strong command of the English language and excellent client relationship skills
• Good public speaking skills or experience in business development will be advantageous

Further details:

• Must be willing to relocate to Bermuda
• 2-year initial contract with the potential of extensions
• Visa & relocation assistance provided
