Accounts Payable

Job Description

Seeking an Accounts Payable individual who will support my clients business objectives by providing accurate and timely financial management and information. This client looks to maximise automation and efficiencies and build partner relationships while maintaining sound financial controls.

Responsibilities:

• Full function of Accounts Payable (except stock)
• Issuing of Purchase Orders / Signing off on supplier orders
• Issuing notices of service cancellations to suppliers where required
• Attending monthly / quarterly supplier engagement meetings to represent finance
• Verifying completeness and accuracy of supplier billing
• Identifying, logging and managing disputes of suppliers to prompt resolution
• Obtaining internal approvals on supplier invoices where necessary
• CPT stock backup - issuing and receiving stock (physically & recording system transactions)
• Customer to Supplier completeness (monthly check) - new services, existing services, terminated services
• Ensure timeous capturing of approved supplier invoices to ensure supplier payments are timeous
• Ensure VAT compliance on all supplier invoices capturing 

Requirements

• Relevant financial qualification
• 5 years experience
• Sage experience
