Seeking a dynamic Group Financial Accountant, with a hands-on approach in completing accounting transactions and preparing management accounts for a group of entities. Requirements:

• Responsible for 8 smaller entities` financial management
• Business partner for accounting for the company's main company
• Assist with main business when required
• Responsible for accounting and management of confirmed and unconfirmed events
• Prepare monthly Management Accounts
• Responsible for month end close - TB, GL, transactional processing
• Liaise and support the procurement function
• Responsible for VAT, Accounts Payable and Intercompany management
• Maintain the Fixed Asset registers
• Inventory Management
• Ensure compliance with all taxation, statutory and other regulations
• Support the annual budget preparation
• Liaise with auditors when applicable
• Responsible for the development of direct reports
• Focus on continuous improvement – processes and month-end close
• Supports Finance Projects

Requirements:

• B. Com or equivalent financial qualification
• Min of 4 years of relevant working experience within finance/audit/advisory
• Experience with preparing management accounts and financial statements
• Experience with Xero Project will be advantageous
• Strong understanding of accounting
