Management Accountant

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, half yearly and annual management reporting and analysis within the required time frames to provide feedback on performance.
• Analyse trends and financial performance across the business.
• Review processes and financial reporting requirements and recommend improvements.
• Responsible for the full budgeting and forecasting process for the group including, financial modelling, process management, monitoring and analysis.
• Prepare and monitor cashflow forecasts.
• Ensure function adheres to Group governance, policies and standards, statutory and legal compliance.
• Responsible for the integrity of financial systems so that they adhere to the applicable accounting standards and company policies.
• Take accountability for the management of direct reports and functions in the department if applicable.
• Establish development and training plans for individual team members with a focus on promoting, developing, and retaining high caliber employees.

• A relevant degree in cost and management accounting at a university, or a completed CIMA qualification or CA(SA)
• At least 5 to 8 years’ experience in management accounting within a mining related environment
• Skilled in financial management, budgeting, forecasting, internal controls, and auditing requirements.
