- Provide management with information with which they can effectively manage the organisations resources.
- To improve productivity and scrap rates within areas of delegated responsibility.
- To install & maintain all mechanical equipment, plant & machinery in good working order to ensure an adequate provision of machine and process capacity to production at all times.
- To install & maintain all electrical equipment, switch gear, plant & machinery in good working order to ensure an adequate provision of machine & process capacity to production at all times.
- To install & maintain all pneumatic equipment, cylinders, actuators & valves in good working order to ensure an adequate provision of machine & process capacity to production at all times.
- Supervise and coordinate the artisans on shift
- All other duties as assigned
- Minimum Qualification: Diploma in Electrical/Mechatronics or Trade Tested in Electrical/Mechatronics/Millwright
- Minimum Experience: 3-5 Years at Technician level Or 5-7 Years’ experience Trade Tested
- Computer skills Word, Excel, Power Point
- Yaskawa Robot, PLC and HMI programming experience
- Cognex and Omron cameras knowledge
- Nordson adhesive applicators experience
- Ultrasonic welding, Vibration welding and Hot Plate welding experience
- Electro Pneumatic experience
- Laser Engraving Knowledge
