- Possess a bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering, or an equivalent qualification, with relevant experience.
- 5 years of practical experience in a control systems environment.
- Proficient in Siemens and Allen Bradley PLCs, with knowledge of other PLC brands being advantageous.
- Experience in working with TIA Portal and Studio 5000, with beneficial experience in S7, RS Logix 5000, and Logix 500.
- Proven experience in HMI and SCADA system design and development.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, VB, C++, or C.
- Knowledge of or experience working with industrial robots.
- Familiarity with safety in control systems.
- Proficient in reading electrical drawings and diagnosing electrical systems.
- Familiarity with industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, Ethernet/IP, Profinet or Profibus.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to lead or participate in control system projects from conception to implementation.
- Experience with commissioning and start-up of control systems in industrial settings.
