KYC Client Onboarding Specialist

Investment team's middle office seeks a KYC Client On-boarding Specialist to assist in this key role in their team. You'll be processing client onboarding documentation, verifications, remediation etc. of new and existing clients across their products.  We're looking for candidates with no less than 2 years in a similar role with good knowledge of regulations, CDD, AML and FICA and strong Excel skills. Responsibilities: 

• Support client facing team with onboarding new clients and investors, both local and cross jurisdictional structures
• Understand relevant CDD/AML procedures, manage high risk matters, escalate and sign off when needed 
• Liaise with internal teams and follow up when necessary, manage client onboarding process
• Verify records, keep up to date and accurate
• Collect due diligence, subsequent periodic review and tax information for clients and investors ensure compliance with AML regulations and policies 
• FATCA, CRS – arrange validation of client tax documents
• Maintain FICA, KYC on DocFox, be responsible for ongoing reviews and end to end processes
• Stay current with regulatory changes and requirements around client KYC
• Prepare and maintain procedure documents

Requirements: 

• Must have a minimum of a completed degree in finance, commerce or accounting 
• Must have a minimum of 2 years experience in Finance, with exposure to Fund Services ,Asset Management, Collective Investments 
• Strong Excel skills 
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills 
• Strong organizational, time-management, analytical abilities
• Deadline driven and self motivated
