ENVIRONMENT:
LEAD the data strategy of dynamic Financial Services Group to support its strategic objectives as your expertise is sought to fill the role of its next Head of Data and Analytics. You will drive the provision and optimal utilization of data across the business whilst ensuring data integrity. The successful incumbent requires a suitable Bachelor’s Degree or higher with 10 years’ work experience in a senior role within Financial Services/Retail environment including Programme Management and developing and operationalising strategies.
 
DUTIES:
  • Custodian of the data strategy across the organisation to ensure that the company meets its strategic objectives.
  • Proactively champion and drive data as a strategic asset.
  • Drive the expansion of data utilisation and innovation, including the increased utilisation of data self-service capabilities.
  • Partner with the business and ensure easy access to accurate data to enable their respective reporting and analytical requirements.
  • Define, manage and govern data and underlying technology policies/programs and operations to guarantee data integrity and create efficiencies.
  • Internal and external stakeholder management to ensure a shared vision and priority for the data related technologies.
  • Constantly monitor the data landscape and identifying new sources of data and recommend best practices.
  • Define and drive the company’s Artificial Intelligence objectives.
  • Drive and deliver key enterprise data related projects.
  • Ensure compliance with legislation and shareholder requirements.
  • Effective integration with regional and central teams and delivery of group requirements.
  • Lead direct reports and their teams to ensure optimal performance, engagement and succession.
 
REQUIREMENTS:
Qualifications –
  • A relevant and applicable Bachelors’ Degree or higher.
 
Experience/Skills –
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a senior position within Financial Services/ Retail environment.
  • Experience in Programme Management.
  • Experience in developing and operationalising strategies.
  • Expert knowledge of the Financial Services industry.
  • Strong presentation skills (written, verbal and presentation-related).
