Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership, direction, and management of the finance team.
• Responsible for reviewing financial systems, internal controls and procedures
• Manage the processes for financial forecasting and budgets
• Plan and coordinate the external audit process
• Provide strategic recommendations
• Improve operational systems and processes
• Prepare budgets
• Analyze and review monthly accounts
• Ensure timeous delivery of financial management accounts reports
• Oversee the preparation of all financial reporting
• Ensure all the financial department deliverables are met on time
• Monitor the actual use of financial resources against the approved budget
• Financial reporting

Requirements:

• BCom degree in Finance or Accounting
• Minimum of 5 years post article experience
• Strong knowledge of financial processes, systems and related laws
• Proven experience in a managerial and leadership role managing a team
• Solid knowledge of financial processes, systems and related laws
• Proven leadership skills are essential
• Excellent computer skills with proficiency in MS Office, MS Excel and Google Suite
