Job Position: Bookkeeper

Location: PE/Gqeberha

Salary: R23 000 per month CTC commensurate with qualification and experience

Qualifications / Requirements:

• Relevant Degree/Diploma required

• Minimum of 5 years bookkeeping experience (grocery/retail experience preferable)

• Sage Evolution/Pastel and Excel experience essential

• Ability to cope with high volume and under pressure while meeting tight reporting deadlines

• Stable work record with contactable references and good work ethics

Experience with:

• Books up to management accounts (balance sheet and income statement)

• Cashbook processing control and reconciliations

• Creditors (role requires review of reconciliations prepared by Creditors Clerk) and small debtors book.

• Payroll

• Submit EMP201’s and VAT201’s

• Month end file preparation

• Year-end file preparation and resolution of any audit queries

• Cashflow forecasting
