Duties:
- Development of IT Budget in conjunction with planning and forecasts per Cost Centre.
- Coordinate CAPEX, Overhead and Direct Purchase orders on behalf of IT.
- Forecast overhead expenditure to remain within allocated budget.
- Continuously strive to create cost awareness and acceptance of responsibility and ownership by the relevant managers for its financial performance with respect to overheads and CAPEX costs.
- Manage the IT Budget and ensuring timeous submission to Finance at month end.
- Provide regular management feedback/updates and status reports on all aspects of this function (KPI’s, Budgets, Contracts, Vendors, etc.) that is both timeous and accurate to enable informed decisions is taken by the Unit Head and IT Managers.
- To provide annual review of the previous year’s performance to create focus on areas of non-performance and agree on measures to minimize future risk.
- Pursue optimal licensing and contract models with all service providers through negotiation and innovation, thereby ensuring the Group obtains maximum benefit of licensing/contracts at minimum/optimal cost.

- 3 year Financial (or related) Qualification - degree or diploma
- 1 - 3 years Finance and/or business systems experience
- Contract and Vendor Management experience.
- Have thorough working knowledge of processes in Group Financial Processes / Budget Controlling.
- Managing and working with budgets.
- Understanding License, Vendor and Contract Management.
- Expert experience in using MS Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Exposure\experience with Power BI.
- Must have well developed communication skills, both written and oral with an excellent command in English and be able to communicate at all levels (Staff / Managerial / Division Head / BOM / External Suppliers).
- Display good negotiation; co-ordination; analytical; organizational, time management and planning skills with strong attention to detail.
- Have good interpersonal skills and the ability to create a work environment conducive to high performance.
- Initiative and Creativity (self-starter).
- Windows file and folder knowledge.
- Ability to self-start, work independently (while still a key part of the greater Information Technology team).
