- Variety of Commercial and Industrial vehicles: (Excavators, Loaders, Forklift, Side Loader, Trucks, Tractors, LVD’s etc)
- Experience on CAT machines with KRESS & TML attachments will be advantageous
- Advanced Hydraulic experience
- Workshop and Field work in line with sound preventative, breakdown and planned maintenance strategies. · Shift work may be required from time to time
- Standby duty is a requirement
- Overtime required as per workload requirements
- Forklift and overhead crane Licenses will be an added advantage
- Must have Matric/N3 with Maths and Science but will consider a N2 with a Trade Test and at least 5 years’ experience
- Must have a National Trade Test Certificate
- Must have 3-5 years’ experience in relevant industry experience in the mechanic trade with a N3
- Must have a valid Driver’s License
- Must be able to apply sound judgement when on standby
- Must be able to communicate effectively
- Must be able to work independently
- Must be able to pay attention to detail and have a sound job related safety awareness and not afraid of heights
