- Technical Grade 12, Minimum N4- N6, completed a recognised millwright apprenticeship and passed a recognised trade test in the trade of millwright.
- Alternatively, qualified through experience and/or recognition of prior learning.
- To promptly respond to electrical and mechanical breakdowns.
- Apply trouble-shooting and fault finding techniques to identify the cause of the breakdown.
- Effect quick and robust repairs
- Use the correct tools and spares to ensure that the machines / equipment are correctly and safely repaired.
- Ensure that machines / equipment are installed according to recognised standards, procedures and plans.
- Ensure that machines are installed in line with relevant Health and Safety regulations
- Attention to detail
- Electronic fault finding
- CNC system navigation
- PLC programming and fault finding (Siemens, Fanuc, Heidenheim)
- CNC retrofitting
