Our client in the manufacturing sector is looking for a Process Engineer to join their team based in Port Elizabeth.
- Research and develop new technical solutions and prototypes.
- Design and program embedded systems.
- Manage R&D projects.
- Design electrical and control systems for various projects.
- Program PLCs and computer applications.
- Manage project plans and update stakeholders.
- Assist with breakdowns of PLC, electronic, and embedded systems.
- Debug and fix electronic PCB boards.
- Conduct feasibility studies and statistical analysis of processes.
- Update process documentation and checklists.
- Implement process improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with controls and procedures.
- Identify and monitor risks.
- Maintain documentation and minimize waste.
- Maintain effective relationships with internal and external customers.
- Represent the company in stakeholder meetings.
- Solve problems creatively and report to management.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (NQF 7)
- Up to 5 years’ experience in Production / Operations / Process Engineering in a Manufacturing environment.
- Computer Literacy (MS Office Suite; SAP, ERP Systems and job-specific software systems).
- Knowledge of Production, Process Engineering, Operational processes and related systems.
- PLC, HMI and Control Systems.
- Embedded Devices (Microcontroller, microprocessors).
- Programming (C/C++, C#, Python).
- Electronic Designing (Multisim, Ultiboard, MatLab).
