Our client, a well established property development and construction group, seeks to employ a Storeman to manage construction materials for projects in and around Cape Town. 
 
This role does require a candidate with a valid driver's license, experience in the construction or technical sector, as well as being resident in the Stellenbosch/Somerset West area only.
KEY REQUIREMENTS TO MEET FOR CONSIDERATION:
 
  • You will have completed Matric, coupled with 2-5 plus years experience in stock control and stores management within the technical or construction sector, dealing with large volumes of project materials.
  • You will have experience in ensuring a well run store, as well as proven experience in managing junior staff, to ensure stock is correct and providing input into quality of materials from suppliers
  • You will have good software skills on Excel and preference will be given to those who have worked on BuildSmart
  • Fluency in English and Afrikaans is essential and preference given to those currently resident in the Winelands/Stellenbosch Region, to start immediately
  • A valid driver’s license, a criminal and credit check will be conducted
