Senior UI & UX Designer (Graphic Designer)

 

Key Responsibilities: 
 
User Experience (UX) Design: 
▪ User Research: Conduct user interviews, surveys, and usability tests to gather insights about user needs and behaviors.
▪ User Personas: Develop detailed user personas and journey maps to inform design decisions.
▪ Wireframing & Prototyping: Create wireframes and interactive prototypes to visualize design concepts and user flows.
▪ Information Architecture: Organize and structure content to enhance usability and findability.

User Interface (UI) Design: 
▪ Visual Design: Develop visually appealing designs that align with our brand guidelines and enhance user interaction. 
▪ Responsive Design: Create layouts that work seamlessly across various devices and screen sizes. 
▪ Design Systems: Contribute to or develop design systems and style guides to ensure consistency across products.

Collaboration & Communication: 
▪ Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure designs are feasible and meet business goals. 
▪ Feedback Integration: Iterate on designs based on user feedback, analytics, and stakeholder input.

Testing & Analysis: 
▪ Usability Testing: Conduct usability tests to identify pain points and validate design solutions.
▪ Performance Metrics: Analyze user engagement and experience metrics to inform ongoing design improvements.

Qualifications: 
▪ Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
▪ Experience: Minimum 10 years proven experience in UI/UX design, preferably in a digital product environment.
▪ Tools: Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar.
▪ Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing design projects and thought processes.

Skills: 
▪ User-Centered Design: Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
▪ Visual Design Skills: Strong aesthetic sense with attention to detail in typography, colour, and layout.
▪ Problem-Solving: Ability to identify problems and create effective design solutions.
▪ Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presenting ideas and concepts clearly.
