This role involves designing test cases, executing tests, and identifying defects to ensure the final product meets the specified requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Test Planning:
▪ Test Strategy Development: Collaborate with stakeholders to define testing strategies and
objectives for projects.
▪ Test Case Design: Create detailed test cases and test scripts based on functional and non-functional requirements.
Test Execution:
▪ Manual Testing: Conduct manual tests to validate software functionality, usability, and performance.
▪ Automated Testing: Develop and execute automated test scripts using testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit).
Defect Identification:
▪ Bug Reporting: Identify, document, and track defects using issue tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
▪ Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to reproduce issues and verify fixes.
Continuous Improvement:
▪ Test Optimization: Continuously review and optimize test processes and scripts to improve efficiency and coverage.
▪ Testing Documentation: Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of testing activities and results.
Collaboration & Communication:
▪ Cross Functional Collaboration: Work with developers, product managers, and business
analysts to understand requirements and ensure quality throughout the development
lifecycle.
▪ Feedback Loop: Participate in project meetings to provide feedback on quality and testing
outcomes.
Qualifications:
▪ Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
▪ Experience: Minimum 10 years proven experience as a software tester or in a similar QA role, with knowledge of various testing methodologies.
▪ Technical Skills: Familiarity with testing tools and frameworks, as well as programming/scripting languages.

▪ Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to identify issues and ensure thorough testing coverage.
▪ Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess software quality and functionality.
▪ Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
