- Education: Diploma in Warehouse Management, Distribution, or Logistics (NQF 6).
- Experience: At least 5 years in Warehousing or Distribution/Logistics Management within a manufacturing environment.
- Operational Efficiency:
- Ensure accurate stock levels and efficient inventory turnover.
- Minimize discrepancies through effective management and auditing.
- Compare actual physical stock with recorded levels.
- Order Fulfilment:
- Manage picking, packing, and shipping processes.
- Achieve high levels of on-time and accurate order fulfilment.
- Measure order accuracy and delivery times.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Maintain a safe working environment.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare and present reports on warehouse operations, inventory levels, and distribution performance.
- Cost Management:
- Contribute to budget preparation.
- Control operational costs and optimize resource utilization.
- Staff Management (ESSENTIAL):
- Recruit, train, and manage warehouse staff.
- Foster a productive work environment and promote teamwork.
- Oversee staff performance, discipline, training, and development.
- Proficiency in MS Office, SAP, and other relevant software.
- Knowledge of warehousing and distribution processes and procedures.
- Leadership and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
